COVID -19 TEMPORARY SCALING DOWN OF LEC OPERATIONS
The management of the Lesotho Electricity Company (Pty) Ltd informs all LEC customers and the general public that the company is implementing an immediate scaling-down of staff to mitigate the spread of COVID 19. This shall commence on Thursday, 22nd July, 2021.
The scaling-down is prompted by the escalating reported cases of the pandemic in the country and within the company.
Rotational staffing will be introduced and LEC shall continue with all the existing services with minimal scale.
Customers can vend electricity through Mpesa, Ecocash, Khetsi, Banks and Sales Agents.
The public shall therefore be informed of any changes that may arise.
